AzeusCare featured in London Local Digital Futures Conference

By Eric Xu on June 11, 2015

In a workshop for the recent Local Digital Futures Conference, social services executive Marcellina Taylor discussed the importance of providing a safer, more efficient case data system for social workers.

Taylor (Chief Social Worker and Assistant Director of Transformation at Bedford Borough Council Children’s Social Care department) presented her research on traditional social care solutions at the conference. According to Taylor’s findings, the existing system they had for storing and accessing case information was generally complex and unsafe – leading social service providers to spend less time with clients, as well as compromising their organisations’ efficiency and reputation.

To address these barriers, she described the process of developing an innovative social care system with Azeus UK. Taylor shared that three weeks after the program’s launch, feedback showed that her staff were “thrilled” to use the software – reporting greater user satisfaction and improving productivity by spending less time at their desks.
